Logicworks has partnered with Zeus Technology to help augment the traffic management and load balancing capabilities required of the demanding, online initiatives launched by Logicworks’ clients. Zeus Technology, founded in 1995, develops application traffic management software, dramatically improving network and web-enabled applications making them faster, more reliable, more secure and easy to manage.
Unlike the “vanilla” load balancing devices found at most hosting providers, the offerings included in Zeus’ ZXTM suite allow for the use of a programmable Application Traffic Manager that inspects, secures, shapes, transforms and load-balances application traffic across our clients’ infrastructures. The TrafficScript engine allows for the implementation of whatever traffic management policies are most appropriate for our clients’ needs, drawing on a whole range of capabilities such as web content caching, service level monitoring, bandwidth management, and of course, load balancing. The end result is a level of application acceleration which cannot easily be matched, even with a combination of CDNs, hardware, or performance tuning, typically expensive and labor-intensive endeavors.
Selecting Zeus as a partner was really a “no-brainer”, as its features and benefits correlate directly with the needs and complex requirements for speed, availability, and performance found among Logicworks’ enterprise clientele. Of course, this partnership is made even better when coupled with Logicworks’ expertise. The suite is fully supported by Logicworks’ expert staff, and costs for all software and support are included in the monthly fees for Logicworks’ hosting services.
