Logicworks Presents at Meet-The-Makers

NEW YORK – April 23, 2002 – Logicworks™ presented along-side Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, and Atomz at Meet-the-Makers New York.

The Meet-the-Makers event, held twice annually in New York and San Francisco, is a forum for technology leaders to contribute hands-on instruction and industry insights, and is attended by Web developers and designers.

“More and more design and Web development firms are discovering the advantages of managed hosting solutions,” said Carter Burden, Logicworks President & CEO. “The Meet-the-Makers event is a great opportunity for us to share our industry insights with so many of the industry’s most creative members.”

Logicworks participated as one of four featured lab sessions on the latest Web tools of the trade. The format involved short presentations delving deeply into the technical substance of managed hosting, followed by questions and answers from the audience. The morning events featured how-to panels in which from such industry leaders as 1-800-FLOWERS and Monster discussed key innovations in their Web sites.

By emphasizing the technical aspects and benefits of the program, attendees learn in-depth about the subject matter. ”The Web developers that attend this event are technically very proficient, and are looking for information that helps them serve their clients more inexpensively and more thoroughly,” said Gregg Kitaeff, Vice President of Sales. “By presenting an objective view of what managed hosting is, and what it can provide for clients, we help educate our core audience about the importance of our services.” Kitaeff continued. According to Kitaeff, Logicworks will continue to be involved with these events.
