Logicworks Launches Brand

NEW YORK – March 6, 2002 – Digital Telemedia Inc. (DTI) announced its name change to Logicworks™ to reflect its emerging leadership as a provider of managed hosting solutions.

“We’re building a brand synonymous with excellence,” said Carter Burden, President and CEO. “Logicworks embodies a stronger, more forceful presence.” Logicworks’ growth and ongoing success in the hosting space runs counter to current industry trends exemplified by the recent financial difficulties of several well-known hosting firms such as Exodus, PSI Net, and Globix.

“We excel at providing fully managed solutions, which is what clients increasingly demand,” Burden explained. “We fully manage dedicated servers that we own and operate on behalf of clients, while our competitors essentially provide real estate for the hardware their clients are required to manage themselves. As co-location becomes increasingly cumbersome, more businesses are discovering the advantages of managed server hosting.” Burden further cited Logicworks’ focus on customer service as a key competitive difference. “Businesses simply want responsive and effective customer service. We ensure that by dedicating technically proficient Account Executives to each client for all their service needs. We’ve had a heads-down focus on service and reliability for the last nine years, which our clients really appreciate.”

Logicworks clients, partners, vendors, and staff will celebrate the launch of the Logicworks brand at the March 6th Launch party at Luca Lounge Cucina in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood. The brand kick-off coincides with the formal introduction of the Logicworks Partnership Program, the launching of their online and print promotional campaign, and the unveiling of the www.logicworks.net site. “The enhanced functionality of our site will substantially enhance a number of critical client services and provide greater transparency into customer service and pricing,“ said Burden.

Logicworks was founded in 1993 as Digital Telemedia, providing Internet infrastructure services to small and medium size enterprises, primarily access and hosting. Logicworks client base has expanded rapidly and includes Digitas, BBC Worldwide, Court TV, Simon & Schuster, Paper Magazine, and Thomson Financial.
