Logicworks' partnership with Akamai to offer its Content Delivery Network (CDN)

January 6th, 2011 - Logicworks is pleased to announce a partnership with Akamai to offer its Content Delivery Network (CDN) service to our community. With a system of servers that are spread throughout the world at key geographic locations, CDN is used to optimize the flow of media-rich files such as pictures and movies to end-users from around the globe with dazzling speed. 

By off-loading this work to the CDN, content is pulled from your server and distributed to multiple, strategically dispersed nodes.  When requested by end-users, the content is then distributed to the locations closest to them and the information is delivered consistently and rapidly, leading to more profitable end-user interactions.  The more information visitors can gather quickly, the more time they spend on your site.
